What do you think about a third possibility for the meaning of the passage about "sin unto death" (unpardonable sin)? [1 John 5:16-17, 1 John 1:7-9, John 5:14-15].
Is sinning a "sin unto death" about apostasy and blasphemy of the Holy Spirit, and similar to the verse about it being "impossible to restore them" to faith? And impossible for whom? It certainly would not be impossible for God. [1 John 5:14-16, Hebrews 6:4-9, Matthew 12:31-32, 1 John 1:7, 1 John 1:9-10].
A sin that leads unto death, committing a sin not LEADING to death, is there a sin that can be not be forgiven? is it just talking about the Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit? [1 John 5:16]
