Nazarite Vows

Did the mothers of both Samson and John the Baptist have to adhere to the Nazarite vow restrictions? why did Jesus and Mary both not have to stick to the same rules? [Numbers 6:1-21, Acts 18:18, Matthew 11:18-19].
